> AOL Takeover Speculation
The LA Times (registration required) http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-aol7mar07001427,1,5870376.story?coll=la%2Dheadlines%2Dbusiness picked up on a report issued today by Merrill Lynch [Jessica Cohen] which speculated that AOL may be a takeover target of the likes of Microsoft, Viacom or GE.

Narad made some management changes, essentially as follows:

"Dev Gupta, founder and chief executive officer of Narad, will assume the role of chairman of the board, passing his post as CEO to Craig Dynes, Narad's chief financial officer. Chuck Kaplan, now vice president of marketing and operations, will become chief operating officer; and Marc Aldrich will expand his role as vice president of North American sales to include worldwide sales and customer service. "
