Microsoft sets Xbox Live pricing [GameSpot: XBOX]
There was concern that microsoft was going to charge $10 a month for a renewal of xbox live. I think that 49.99 for a year is about right. They are killing ps2 and gamecube in the online arena. It is the first time that I have ever seen microsoft really innovate. They really stepped out on a limb with Xbox live and produced something that had never been tried before. They have succeeded well and I think it will help them in there long term battle against Sony.
