Ten things that are still good
Ok. We are at war. The weather is freaky (just got another six inches of snow...in April.) The economy is shaky. But here are ten things* that are just good no matter what else is wrong in the world, in no particular order:
- Really good coffee
- Nutella
- Puppies (specifically the soft fur on their ears)
- Certain kinds of music (the DJ played "Here Comes The Sun" for the people of Iraq today and it sounded so perfect, so much more than just a song)
- Thick socks
- Macaroni and Cheese (specifically the kind they make at Kings)
- A really good pen
- A massage
- These movies: Shawshank Redemption, Joy Luck Club, Better Off Dead, Goodfellas, The Godfather, Independence Day, The Color Purple, The Princess Bride, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Meaning of Life, and LA Story.
- A book called The Shell Seekers
