Principals Charles Allen. Chuck Allen has served as President and CEO of Max Systems Group Inc., as CFO for Safefreight Technology, as EVP, General Counsel and CFO for Paradigm Advanced Technologies Inc, as EVP/founder of a number of related companies including Applied Powder Technologies, Inc., Endeavor Resources Inc., Cubacan Exploration Inc., Kahuna Investment Corporation Inc. and Fibre-Klad Industries. He also has consulted extensively with PG Logistics and ShipbyChoice. He holds an L.L.B. and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. His consulting experience over the past decade, predominantly in the location-based and logistics arena makes him a seasoned consultant in the domain of business planning and raising investment funds in the position-based logistics industry. Bernard Grush. Bern Grush is the founder of Applied Location. As a founder of PCIGeomatics (1980) he designed, built and sold an advanced software-based processing system for satellite data and Geographic Information Systems. As a founder of Imara Research (1988) he was instrumental in designing and delivering the first desktop package for Document and Image Management to the market. As a founder of MetaConcepts Inc., (1990) he built a highly specialized team of integrators for complex back-office processing for mutual fund companies and other financial service back offices. As a System Design Engineer, Bern's background and experience in designing location-based information systems and his understanding of financial services-class systems deployment is a perfect match for ALC's mandate. Douglas Kay. Doug Kay is an principled technology leader with experience in complex geographic information systems as well as large scalable portal and enterprise computing for financial services. He has performed senior or C-level roles at BMO, Farelogix, Basis100, Necho, MetaConcepts, and has been Environmental Systems Scientist, working with Expert Systems, Geographic Information Systems and Data Visualization with Environment Canada. His experience, skills, and discipline make him a strong designer and development manager for the class of position-based systems ALC designs for cordon and wide-area pricing for parking, road-use and PAYD insurance. Robert M. Lewis. Bob Lewis is an experienced business development executive operating in all areas of strategic business decisions, product designs, strategic sales and partnering opportunities. He possess a wealth of experience in corporate positioning, media relations, selling strategies and major bid proposals. With a successful history of senior and international sales and marketing positions within Spar Aerospace, Wescam Inc., Navitrak International Inc. and Safefreight Technology Inc. and as the designer and facilitator of strategic programs for major telematics and navigation companies, Bob has strong knowledge of telematics and navigation markets enables him to guide ALC's emergence as a leading provider of logistical intelligence.
