The JDeveloper/ADF 11g Technology Preview 2 release is now available. You can download it from the JDeveloper 11g Preview home page on OTN. Make sure to read the installation guide and  release notes for tips and gotchas related to using this second technology preview release.

JDeveloper 11g Technology Preview 2 is the first preview release that supports migration of 10.1.3 applications, so we are looking forward to your feedback in the JDeveloper 11g Tech Preview Discussion Forum on any migration issues you encounter when testing the migration of your existing JDeveloper/ADF 10.1.3 (or 10.1.2) applications.

To assist you in understanding the automated migration process and to help you navigate through a few known migration issues in this preview release, I've published a step-by-step tutorial of migrating the SRDemo Sample (ADFBC Version) from ADF Faces 10.1.3 to JDeveloper/ADF 11g:   Migrating the 10.1.3 SRDemo Sample to 11g Tech Preview 2

Finally, you can read an overview of the many, many new features in JDeveloper/ADF 11g.

You may have noticed this blog has been a bit quieter in the past few months. This announcement gives you some insight into what I've been up to... Enjoy!
