(shannon) I just have to say~ OUR FANS ROCK!

We had a journal request to help a fan find a copy of our "Waiting For a Star to Fall" video, and I'm pleased to say we received a number of responses offering to make a copy for him. He is pleased to be the recipient of your generosity as well. We've got the finest fans, and I thank you all heartily for everything! I love being in touch through the internet and cannot imagine trying to have a musical career these days without it, and without you.

Another fan named Monty wrote in saying he has been persistently requesting of VH1 Classic that they play our "Bring Down The Moon" video. He writes:

"I am happy to report that I've received confirmation from VH1 Classic that "Bring Down The Moon" will be shown on their All Request Hour on Friday March 5, 2004!!!!! The All Request Hour is shown 3 times daily at 1PM, 9PM, and 5AM east! So you may want to let all the readers of your website know that they will be able to see this great video on again real soon!!!!"

Thank you Monty, we'll be cueing up our recorders!

Also, we have been asked about the inspiration for "Waiting For a Star to Fall". So here's the Valentine version, and it's even true. George and I had gone to the Greek Theater in Los Angeles to hear Whitney Houston play. For those of you who've not been there it is a beautiful, smallish outdoor theater, and as Whitney was finishing up our song "How Will I Know", I happened to look up just in time to see a star arcing across the night sky. I whipped out my little writing pad and pen, a couple of items no writer is ever without, and jotted down that line...waiting for a star to fall. It is a wistful song, hopeful too, and I will say no more about it because we each have our own personal interpretations of songs we love, and I don't want to invade that particular privacy. Someone asked if we had any idea as we wrote it that it would be a hit. I have to say I did not, but I did think it had a great energy, and I clearly remember it did not take long to write~the song seemed to have a momentum of it's own. So there you have it.

Happy Valentines Day~ draw back that bow and may your aim be true!!!

With love, Shannon

(geo+shannon) We have a dance hit in the UK! LMC Vs U2 used the lyric "take me to the clouds" from our Whitney song How Will I Know, and combined it with U2's "With Or Without You", and it's been at #1 for two weeks!!!
