(geo) I am flipping on the internet radio and I LOVE IT!!! I'm learning about podcasting, using the iPod for downloading and listening to the vast array of stations. As soon as I understood internet radio and was comfortable browsing for stations and great playlists, I wanted to be able to download stuff to my iPod. It's just beginning, and it's gonna be the serious rage.

The idea is exciting to me, obviously!! When I was a kid(a hundred and fifty years ago), my parents gave me an old shortwave radio, and I'd listen to BBC broadcasts, Voice Of America, Radio Nederland, many languages I didn't recognize; I think I picked up Radio Hanoi once. It was fantastic, and I'm lit about some of the internet stations I've heard; some wacky playlists, and it's fun to think that some young buck out there might be getting inspired by all those funky airwaves!
