At a conference for young Christians, the main speaker said that he had tried to minister to adults, but he had to quit because it was too boring. I was wondering what that was about and I have this theory. There exists in working with young people, evolutionary pressure to make interactions with God as continually interesting and stimulating as possible. When working with grown ups, the evolutionary pressure is to change as little as possible. I know which job sounds more interesting to me.
