On Friday, Glen (my fiance) and I went and got our marriage license. It's a pretty simple procedure, actually easier than I thought it would be. You just go to the City County Building at 800 N. French Street in Wilmington to the Clerk of the Peace. The ask you boring questions, such as name age and address and some questions a little off the wall, like if you are related. You pay $30 and there you go. It was easy for us because Glen works in town, so he just took a late lunch (they aren't open from 12-1pm). Since we were already there, I bought a name change kit for $10. It just has all the information and addresses that you have to send your name change to. I figured it was worth $10 to have less stress. For more info, go to:
