If ever I should stop thinking about music and politics.... Once upon a time, I had a dream. Like most, I've actually had a bunch. The dream in question, though, was to have a website dedicated to music and politics and their intersections. I registered musicandpolitics.org and .com, set up a topica list, and...never got much farther. Yesterday, several years later, I was curious to see if the domain was still available. Well, .com was taken by some folks who are squatting for a buck--288 of them to be exact. .org was still available--and since that's where my focus had always been, I bought it and while I was at it, I set up a quick blog at musicandpolitics.blogspot.com. I've already put up a few items. I've been running the blog you're reading on Radio.Userland. It's a better blog platform than Blogger, I'm sure, but I found blogger to be a bit more immediate--which, when you want to start something immediately, is often the way to go. So, feel free to spread the word on musicandpolitics.org (which for now will link to the blog). If anyone wants to have access as a co-author at the blog, just let me know.
