The only time I listen to broadcast radio is when I wake up, because the clockradio next to my bed cannot play tapes or cd's. Usually I'm so disgusted by the music they play that I jump out of bed quickly, but this morning I was very surprised and extremely pleased by Topradio when they played Armin Van Buuren's "Yet another day".
Apparently the future release of that track in the UK in April has inspired the Topradio programmers into adding this brilliant track to their playlist.
What a nice way to wake up. This was the first track in a long long time I heard on radio which I really like (a lot, a whole lot). Go Topradio! :)

Well, it's finally (half) ready.
I was rummaging through my junk closet last week and discovered my old DCC player I bought a long long time ago. The tapes I recorded are an interesting look at dance music about 5 to 10 years ago.
Here's part one of my flashback. A collection of what was played in a commercial club ano 1998. The club is Lamborghieni and is still running ok, still playing commercial dance. Though I haven't been there in a while, mostly because I'm getting too old for that place ;) I'm putting this online for your enjoyment, but I also hope that you can help me at completing the playlist.
I'll do a separate story on DCC later on, because it's such an interesting bit of Philips history. And to my surprise the player was still working as new.
