I haven't posted much lately, mostly because there isn't much interesting news to be found at the moment. August in Ghent is slow. Every one is relaxing after 10 days of partying in July, either at home or on vacation. In general, August in Belgium isn't very noteworthy anyway. Belgium isn't exactly a prime holiday location.
So I've been going with the flow, taking it easy. In preparation of Half-life 2, that should be ready and available later this year, I've finally finished the first Half-life. After 5 years it's still a great game. That thought made me get out some other old games I bought, but never finished, like Myst and Zeus. All gems, no matter how old they are.
It's pretty much the same with music. I've come to realize that my mp3 collection is big enough. It's actually huge and meanwhile I also have a cd collection that takes a few weeks to play from start to finish. So for the moment I'm not really downloading much and I'm also not discovering a lot of new trance. Which is too bad, so that's why I started working on my review-aggregator again. Right now it's successfully scanning a few selected sites and exporting the data to a database. Now I just need to make a front-end and some way of coupling it with a DCC++ client. I'll keep you posted.
