Euro trance, euro dance, euro trash, ... It's alive and well. Actually, I'm not sure how well it is, but anyway, check out Twister's site for a bunch of home made remixes.

It brings back memories of that 1994-ish area when we started going out and discovered all kinds of new music. A time when electronic music was still evolving a lot. When I had only a few options on a Saturday night, due to the limited range of my bike. Choosing for the closest party was often a very wrong thing to do, especially at a time when we did not fully understand yet how intoxication can spice up an evening out. Or totally ruin it, depending on the Bacardi/Champaign ratio. That's not really the usual Saturday night cocktail, but it certainly has the tendency to create the most memorable nights.

Anyway, we often ended up at the average local party. Which back then usually played 50% grunge and other metal and 50% "house". The house part was either jump tracks or euro dance/trance. 2 Unlimited and B.G. (the prince of rap) still have this magical aura that reminds me of those times. Not that it was better back then, but times were certainly different.

Now check out that link for a blast of nostalgia.
