Threads like this are so eye-opening. You think you've heard and know pretty much 99% of the good tracks that have been released in the short history of trance, but then half of the tracks that show up in a "best ever" thread are unknown to you or you can't even remotely remember what they sound like. That's when file-sharing is such a blessing. Not to illegally acquire tracks, but to revive and relive part of our trance history.

As far as my personal favorite trance tracks are concerned ... I'm really hesitant to compile a list, because I would inevitably forget some of the best stuff. One of the lesser known tracks that would be on there is Josh Wink's one and only endeavor into the trance area, called "Thoughts of a tranced love" released under the Winc alias. In the "Black Lettuce remix" pretty please.

I was also pleasantly surprised to find Sasha's "Arkham Asylum" being mentioned. It's also one of my favourites, although I haven't heard it for ages. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go dig through my cd collection...
