Despite a very erroneous forecast, Halloween up here in the frostbelt was pretty kind to us. It was supposed to be sunny all day, with 0% chance of precip, but instead it was 100% cloudy all day--sun never sighted--with very slight drizzle off and on in the morning. But by evening it was dry, though still cloudy, in the high 40s, and, crucially, zero wind. So with a sweatshirt on underneath, the kids were able to show off their costumes with no layers covering them.
