The WSJ has an article headlined "Electric Blankets Get Hot". I have wondered for years what ever happend to electric blankets. Seems like they were the thing to have c. 1978, but haven't been for years. I vaguely seem to remember some radiation concerns. Personally, I love a pile of conventional blankets, but the way electrics disappeared from the radar has perplexed me.
