Erik's Movie List

Cold Mountain; 6/10; 2005-01-03. Good, but ultra-sad. A bit strong on melodrama and implausible timing. Made me realize how exquisitely beautiful Nicole Kidman is. Not a bad actress, either. I thought she did well with the strong North Carolina accent.

The Human Stain; 6/10; 2005-01-04. Coincidentally, another fairly sad Nicole Kidman movie. Good.

Beyond the Sea (theater); 7/10; 2005-01-15. Story of Bobby Darin. Very good, made a confirmed Kevin Spacey fan of me.

Master and Commander; 7/10; 2005-01-16. Wish I could have seen it in the theater.
