Missionary Returns from Myanmar! RCMI
Several weeks ago we mentioned a young lady, 6 months old in the Lord, who is from the Vision 510 Region. She attended a YWAM DTS and then went for 5 weeks to Myanmar for her practical work. While there, she was arrested twice. The second time she was held overnight. Her response? " I can trust the Lord, I have no fear of what man can do to me. I want to share his love with the people in my area, and beyond.?" Praise the Lord for such faith!
For almost a year we have been trying to get hold of a book to help with training in the countryside. It is a concise commentary of every book in the bible. Last week we got a message that a bag of these were coming for us! The day after their (RCMI) delivery to us Paul took them to the hungry churches. Please pray for the materials we need to become available.
Children in need of Jesus
During Paul's visit to the Churches he was stopped constantly to have his temperature taken. He was in very remote places, but police and doctors where everywhere, checking everyone. Especially people who had gone into the area from this city. While great effort is being taken to control SARS, it heightens our need for prayer covering as there is more alertness to who is coming and going. Please pray for protection over the churches, and those who are travelling in this area to preach the gospel.
Please pray for the children in the Vision 510 region. They are poor economically, and spiritually. Preaching to children is illegal, and carries serious consequences. Pray for families to come to Jesus.

Concerns rise on eve of North Korea talks. WASHINGTON - As President Bush enters two weeks of intense diplomacy over disarming North Korea, U.S. and Asian officials say the nature of the threat it poses to the world has changed dramatically in recent years - and with it, so have the bitter arguments over how to prevent a starving, desperate nation from lashing out. Sars in Bejing
Picture a large boulder being dropped into a pond—its rippling waves radiating out in all directions. Picture the 14 million strong populous of Beijing being hit with the disease and hysteria of SARS—its impact affecting every household.
Surreal as it may seem, it is a living reality to those who walk the streets of Beijing. Official decisions and actions in Beijing in recent days have generated much hysteria throughout and many are fleeing the city—taking their fears and potential infections with them. Once crowded buses, subways and streets now stand unoccupied, small store and restaurants vacant, supermarket shelves bare. Even in darken remote alleyways and neighborhoods, untouched by media and newspaper, families take shelter behind their doors and face masks.
Fear of sickness, death, and panic have spread its dark fingers, taken hold of and gripped the souls of millions in a matter of days. Just imagine if the FEAR of the LORD—the fear of His flaming Glory, unlimited supremacy, righteous anger, and extravagant mercy and love--would grip just a few, how fast and how far would that spread?
* Pray that the fear of God and His glory might fall on the people of Beijing like rain, covering the earth like water the sea (Hab 2:14) and that the fear of death might be replaced by the fear of the Lord.
* Ask that God would grant Christians in this city and around the world a measure of God’s glory in an amount that they can bear so that as mirrors reflecting His glory they may boldly hold out the Word of Life to those who are perishing and declare: “Do not fear. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Jesus Christ alone gives you peace that the world cannot offer. In this world you will have trouble, but take heart Jesus has overcome the world!” (John 14:27, 16:33)
* Intercede for Christian brothers and sisters in China to ride the waves of this pressing crisis and take the gospel to Beijing, to the peoples of China and to the ends of the earth.
“Who will not FEAR you, O God, and bring glory to your name? For You alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” (Rev 15:4)
