Today's Prayer Request from Pray For China
 The middle-aged generation, ages 40 to 55, is the generation of "cultural revolution" (1966-1976), the most difficult and chaotic periods of recent Chinese history. People's University study shows this age group now having big problems with faltering marriages and high rate of extramarital affairs. We pray specifically for the salvation and marriage of this age group, who at one time sacrificed greatly for the nation, and now faces the harshest reality of market economy.

Landslide in Southern China Kills 29. A landslide buried two buildings where highway workers were sleeping in southern China, killing at least 29 people, a local official and a newspaper said Monday. Rescuers using bulldozers were looking for the bodies of three people still missing after the disaster Sunday in the Guizhou region, the Beijing Youth Daily newspaper reported.
