CHURCH IN PAKISTAN HIT IN TWIN BLASTS BY ISLAMIC TERRORISTS (ANS)
Islamic militants used a grenade to draw large crowds outside Trinity Church, Karachi, and then detonated a powerful car bomb, injuring 13, according to the Barnabas Fund, which works to support Christian communities mainly, but not exclusively, in the Islamic world where they are facing poverty and persecution.

North Korea Claims Japanese Abductees May Go If Their Parents Come To Pick Them Up, Many Express Reservations On Safety. The problem with North Korea is that nothing is ever as it seems. My hunch is that NK will use the children to threaten their parents that they must stay in North Korea. The only reason North Korea let this particular group of abductees leave to visit Japan, I suspect, is that because of their children, they were deemed 'controllable'. The use of families to control people has been honed to a fine art in North Korea, and in fact, every North Korean who goes overseas is required to leave hostages behind (and they are known to be immediately imprisoned in prison camps where few ever leave, if the now-overseas family member does anything to 'embarass' North Korea, such as...
