questions about templates, displays, etc.. background-attachment: fixed; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: 0% 50%; what does the 0% 50% do? The reason I ask is that when I look at the template on a 1024 x768 screen, there appears to be a white space on the right side of the template that I don't see when I look on an 800 x 600 screen and was wondering if there was some way I could get the fixed transparent image to widen depending on screen displays..hopefully my thought makes sense there 4:35:29 PM    comment [] trackback [] Newbie Themes Test Page Me day and looking for work again today, I took a "me" day. I haven't been feeling very good, really tired and hot/cold, so I took a day off. Now I realize that taking a day off loses me about 184.00 which I could really use and I think its time for me to start looking again for the full-time job with benefits..you know those jobs that offer sick pay and health insurance. My current company is never going to offer me more money, more hours or any benefits Now what I don't understand, is that I had some really great interviews with company for full-time jobs, I get called back for 2nd and 3rd interviews, sometimes they call me for additional information and then NOTHING, i never hear from them again...WHAT IS THAT ABOUT? I had a great interview with one company and i asked them not to call my current part-time employer unless i was a candiate for the position because my current company didn't know i was looking for another job and they did call current company..so I was thinking, yea I might get the job, and again I have heard NOTHING back and yes, I did call and let them know I was very interested in the position. Personally, I think it would be common courtesty to call the candiate back and let them know they didn't get the job since now current company knows I'm looking... and off to looking again for that perfect mysterious full-time job that is perfect for me 4:29:51 PM    comment [] trackback [] Out of the loop and missed some important changes to Radio wow, i've been out of the loop for awhile. I haven't really had the heart to check the radio discussion board that much or write new newbie tips and I know the request lately is how to create a new design, but my heart just hasn't been into writing the concept out. but it looks like there is some movement over at Radio for upgrades/changes to Radio...Radio 2004 Roadmap and the hiring of Steve Kirks as product manager. I've read some of Steve Kirks tips for Radio and at one point was going to implement one or two little tricks but got sidetracked with life and if my life could get back on track, then I'll probably be more intuned to creating new newbie tips such as how to create a design template, with the help of a blank template from Radio...it will be so much easier to explain the concept :)   4:21:30 PM    comment [] trackback []
