Bathroom Remodel Day Seven 9-29-03
Day One Day Two Day Three Day Four Day Five Day Six Day Seven Day Eight Day Seven. I have a toilet, just not a shower tonight..but at least I get to sleep in my bed and not at the hotel, that was exhausting..sleeping at a hotel and then coming back to the house to feed the cats, make sure the contractors were doing their job... I do remember what happened or a little of what happened today..they finally put the shower door on which is a little too short for me..now I'm 6'1 and the contractor is about 5'7 ....the shower nozzle spray head is high enough..he put it up higher after I told him to and now common sense here...you'd think you would order tall shower doors but no...he ordered the shorter ones..which I now have to bend down to get into the shower and eventually I found out after I could use the shower, the water spray over the top of the shower doors because the nozzle is higher than the doors... ok..shower doors are done, no shower available because he still needs to put the shower handle together..toilet is in, floor is done, texturing is done..waiting for it to dry, I forgot to take a picture tomorrow is the last day!!!!! finish the shower, clean and leave. comment []
