"What is life but the angle of vision? A man is measured by the angle at which he looks at objects. What is life but what a man is thinking of all day? This is his fate and his employer. Knowing is the measure of the man. By how much we know, so much we are."
--Ralph Waldo Emerson "Natural History of Intellect" part 1

I don't know who wrote this, but it has always been a favorite of mine. Hence, the title of this blog. I wanted to share it with you.
Muse Dance
In the black night
the lost wanderer
gazes blindly,
wraps barely comforting arms
and waits for the sun.
But the muse dances.
Alone, not lonely,
singing only to herself.
In the darkest skies
the eye can see forever.
Warmly,
Susan
