Age Discrimination Prevails

Yesterday's Wall Street Journal featured an article about older workers. The article was based partially on a study by the Conference Board. In a study, responded to by 150 Human Resources departments in large companies, the Board found that a serious percentage of the respondents of the companies discriminate against older workers by limiting their promotions, not providing stretching work assignments, and providing less training and developmental activities than they do for their younger workers.

More Companies Listen to the Needs of the Aging Workforce

Warmly,

Susan
