Change Rules

"If anything is certain, it is that change is certain. The world we are planning for today will not exist in this form tomorrow."

Memorial Day

May your Memorial Day be happy, filled with family and friends, yet thoughtful in remembrance of the price paid by many of the members of our armed services. They gave their lives that we may live freely in the United States of America. They gave their lives that many around the world can live freely without living every day in terror.

Television, this morning, presented moving interviews with family members who lost loved ones in the Iraqui war. (Unfortunately, I am also reminded of the worst of television - Jerry Spinger and more ...)

In this year of Operation Iraqui Freedom, the meaning of war casualties is fresh in the minds and hearts of Americans, the British, Iraquis, and many other nations of the world. So, it is with a new sadness that we honor our war dead on this special day. About's Beverly Hernandez shares with us the history and meaning of this day.

Warmly,

Susan
