Job Site Scams

I visited a couple of job sites today that claim, as you register, to be totally free access. Yet, I found out on obtaining access that there was a fee for everything I wanted to do once I was logged in as a member. I find this to be borderline scam and am unlikely to use these sites for anything and I am unlikely to link them from my website.

This is a problem I found similarly with services such as Hotwire and Priceline. My most important criteria, when I travel, is usually when I depart and when I return. Yes, these sites have great prices, but you must go at their convenience. Not a scam for people who don't care, but I'm always trying to show up for an event or a short weekend. So, they don't work for me. Isn't there always a catch? And, especially, when they don't tell you in advance that there is a catch, I am most unhappy.

Warmly,

Susan
