Small Business Human Resources

Today was an exciting day for me. I have zeroed in on one of the "passions" I have in my work. It is helping small to mid-sized organizations develop a Human Resources function and understand all of the nuances of HR policies and objectives. I especially like to present HR in a helpful light and keep its focus on motivation, developing a performance culture, and other objectives deemed helpful to the business.

I do understand that there are many policing and systematizing actions that need to happen, but they make for an empty plate when you are emphasizing the right things.

Today, I spoke with a networking group of young entrepreneurs and enjoyed the experience immensely. The discussion reminded me of the questions important to a small business or entrepreneurial venture.

I do offer Small Business Human Resources material. It needs to have a wider audience. Especially read: People Power Your Small Business for helpful advice.

Warmly,

Susan
