What Really Works

Okay, I admit it. I am a big Harry Potter fan. But, then, I am also a big fan of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. In fact, I read these last when they were published. Watership Down is another old favorite.

These days, I don't take a lot of time to read fiction, unless I am at the cottage, but I am making my way through Tony Hillerman's latest. Is it only me who feels his last couple of books have been short on Navaho education, deepening plot, and character development? I've been disappointed, but I still keep reading him.

In the management arena, I am enjoying What Really Works, especially the chapter on developing a performance culture. I'll pursue the chapters on few management layers and developing talents, next. Join me. It's good, as are all the others above.

What Really Works

Warmly,

Susan
