The strategic planning process took a ten hour day. We are not yet done and plan to meet next week for a day again. Please expect this if you are moving to become an organization with a budget, goals for each person's contribution, and a strategic plan regarding customers and progress. Working all of this out just takes time.
To make planning live, you must obtain commitments from departments for time and resources and review the action steps reflected in the document periodically. Otherwise, you will become a dead document stuck in a drawer.
