Traditional Folk Festival

Dear People,

I deeply care about traditional music in the sense of folk, early country, reggae, Irish, Cape Breton, blues, and jazz. A few years ago, East Lansing, MI bid for and successfully served as the location for the National Folk Festival for three years.

The National festival moved to another location since it only stays in one town for three years. Locally, we replaced it with the Great Lakes Folk Festival, which is this weekend. Our company, Techsmith, donates so that the festival has the funding necessary to be in town.

A charitable cause can bring members of a company together is good ways. We all attended a Natalie MacMaster fund raiser for the festival together. Company members could also attend the kick-off, a late night party, the festival and more. Doing things together is great for team building. Donating to a good cause (a free festival for 100,000 people) is great, too.

Natalie's CDs I recommend from Amazon.com:
