October 26, 2000 207pm CST I burned myself on boiling oil the other day. I usually consider myself to be a somewhat intelligent person, but I can be really stupid. When oil is boiling, it is usually a good idea to keep one's fingers away from it. I insisted on rooting around near the surface of the oil, and have an ugly burn on my left ring finger to show for it. So much for intelligent behavior. 2:07:59 PM    comment []
