December 7, 2000 927pm CST Okay. Not everyone at Richard's site is engaged or hopelessly single. But a lot of people are.
Now, this may be the semester during which I was able to get through everything without buying a single textbook. Actually, I bought one textbook, but I later dropped that class, so I say it doesn't count. I am on track for good grades in all of my classes, and I didn't buy textbooks for any of them. To the community that thrives off of fleecing poor college students, I say "Ha!"

December 7, 2000 252pm CST What is with this weather? I mean, yesterday, though decked out in a heavy coat, scarf, and gloves, I nearly died of hypothermia on my walk to work, and this afternoon I was uncomfortably warm during the same walk with only a fleece pullover. It is like the weather gremlins won't leave us alone. Why can't they make the weather and leave it that way for a while?

December 7, 2000 1252am CST Haha! I am done with my Tuesday/Thursday class. That means that I can stay up as late as I want, 'cause I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow. I will probably go in to work for a while, but I don't have to, and I won't go until after lunch anyway. So I am hanging around on the web. I have spent a lot of time at Richard's site recently. There are a few recent discussions on his message board that I have been a part of. I have met lots of neat folks over there, all of whom seem to be either engaged to be married or hopelessly single. But when it gets down to it, isn't everybody between the ages of 20 and 25 either married, soon-to-be-married, or hopelessly single?
Kristen, one of the folks I have met over there pointed out in a post on ForumSpace that people can get an entertaining image of me if they get to know me only through my participation in discussion boards and my 'blog. I'm not sure exactly what she means, but I can tell you that you would probably get a similar impression of me if you met me in person. Not that I am all that entertaining in real life, but my friends can attest to my eccentricities. I suppose we all have them - I am not out of the ordinary. Individual quirks make interacting with other human beings fun. Sure they can cause misunderstandings at times, but I would say the benefits of those quirks outweigh the drawbacks.
