For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to go to Walt Disney World. I have never been. When I was a junior in high school, my school choir went on a trip to Walt Disney World, and I didn't go with them. I don't remember ever having second thoughts about my decision not to go, but I can't remember why I didn't. It might have been because I didn't want to do fundraising. On the other hand, I may have thought that I wouldn't have enjoyed the trip. But I can remember telling people just a month later that I would really like to go to Disney World.
It is funny the reasons why one decides to do things. I seem to make big decisions without too much thought. My decision to attend KU was made on a whim, and I still don't know why I made it. Not that it has been a terrible decision - it is just kind of strange that I decided to come here after I had made up my mind not to attend this school. Recently, I decided to stay in Lawrence for a year after I graduate from college. Now, this decision comes after some contemplation, and I have several reasons for staying, but I had really planned on moving somewhere else once I had finished my degree. Now I will be staying here until I am ready to move.
