January 31, 2001 1227am CST Reading through other people's blogs, I can't help but notice the very personal nature of them. jonvw.com seems to be missing a distinctively jonathanian flair right now, largely because of the fact that not much is happening in my life right not. At least it doesn't seem like much is happening in my life, but in fact many things are. For example, I have set up a blog for the London Review with which we hope to journal our experiences as a class. I have been accepted officially (though not yet ceremonially) into membership at Redeemer Lutheran Church UAC. I have fun classes, and I am starting an undergraduate research paper on so-called "bridge churches" (protestant churches with episcopal government and claims to apostolic succession) and their place in ecumenical discussions with Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches. I will soon be a college graduate. I recently had dinner with my old roommate Robert, whom I hadn't seen in a number of months. In reality, I am leading a reasonably interesting, if not overly active, life. But I don't really feel like writing about these things now. All I want to do is sleep. 12:38:19 AM    comment []
