June 27, 2001 825pm CDT Okay, I'm back but my computer is still dead. Get this: the processor failed. Ugh. Processors aren't supposed to fail 15 months after the purchase of the computer. They either blow out right away or last until the rest of the computer has long since stopped functioning. Oh well... It's been kind of nice, really. Nothing to do but read out of books made of paper. The new digs are really nice, y'all are invited to come by and visit. Today I started work at Walgreens as an Assistant Manager. It is kind of strange hearing people (other than my professors, of course) refer to me as Mr. Williams. And I have a name badge that says "Assistant Manager." I tell you what - this is pretty cool. I am relieved to know that I am finally being paid real money, though not until the 18th of July. We'll see how that works out. And finally - Happy Birthday Dad! 8:32:38 PM    comment []
