This morning I woke up in my bed at about 5am fully clothed with a copy of Ovid's Metamorphoses close at hand. Every light in my house was still on and my front door unlocked. Sound familiar? When I picked up the book again I realized that I had a complete recollection of everything that I had read until one point in the middle of a thought. There was a time when I would never fall asleep while reading. Things have changed.

Tomorrow I leave for Bloomington, Indiana, whereat I shall visit a couple of classes, talk to faculty and staff at both the School of Law and the School of Information Sciences, check out the campus, and try some of the local restaurants. I should, by the time I leave, complete my applications to the schools. It's getting closer.
