It's autumn again! Breezy, orange, and smelling of smoke, the advent of autumn is always welcome to me. Very soon the leaves will fall, the grad students will put on their drab sweaters, and the breweries will make available their special porters and stouts. It is in this season during which we mark the harvest, the festival of the Reformation, Thanksgiving day, and the beginning of Advent with its attendant sobriety and melancholy.
