Do I want to blog what's going on in my life? Not particularly. It's not that I don't want people to know about it, its just that I don't feel like writing about it because it is so mundane.

I started classes this week. I think I will enjoy management quite a bit more than I had expected. The teacher is a lot of fun, and the readings don't seem impossibly dry, either. Preservation will be interesting, too. Evaluation of Library Sources and Services deals with somewhat less than thrilling subject matter, but my favorite professor is teaching it, so I expect it to be worthwhile. So far, nothing looks terribly daunting. I suspect that this semester will be better than last as far as classes go.

Other news: I bought a new courier bag this week. It was more expensive than the model I planned on getting, but it was on sale at the bookstore, and I couldn't pass up that deal. It's snowing here. The Village Deli is open for dinner again. I have hundreds of pages yet to read in Anna Karenina. I'm getting along quite nicely without a car.
