Qualitative Data

The Virtual Reference Toolkit gives us lots of ways to gather quantitative data, but what about data that tells a story, instead of pure statistics? We can't very well review every single transcript looking for trends or occurrences that indicate how things are going, but we do need to sample these transcripts. The feedback survey is another area where we can ask qualitative questions, though odds are against getting people to respond in complete thoughts and sentences, instead of just letting them check multiple choice boxes.

How can we approach the collection and analysis of qualitative data in this project?
