McConnell vows youth crime blitz
Jack McConnell today announced plans for tough action on anti-social behaviour and youth crime. He said Labour would restrict the possession of airguns, ban the sale of spray paint to under-18s and make offenders repair the damage they do.
And the First Minister is considering ordering all Scottish councils to set up specialist anti-social behaviour units to spearhead the crackdown.
