The bigger the (business) problem, the more complex (application, data), the more remote and distributed the source and consumer of the data, the better P2P is over centralized client/server and web/server.  Though Groove is really only a stepping stone to real B2B, some of the characteristics here are consistent though few vendors have yet to apply it to large scale B2B other than for low value (long term) integration offerings that look a lot like EDI. Check out the comment as it relates to content management!

Line56 article E-Commerce, Marketplace Activity Up on the same vein, reporting from the same source I suspect.  But here the "increase" includes the use of EDI.  So this "internet B2B" is not really what "internet B2B" was meant to be - it includes all electronic communications...how boring.  Anything to keep the vestiges of revolution alive.  What is worse the real revolution is not even seen by some of these people!
