Managing Big E-Mail Attachments

A combined hardware and software offering from Accellion looks to enhance the management of electronic messaging systems by storing e-mail attachments of more than 1MB on caching appliances and giving recipients a link to the attachment rather than the attachment itself. [eWEEK Technology News]

Lookout For A New Search Tool for Outlook

This is very cool - I have been using X1 - but going to give Lookout a try.  [The Shifted Librarian]

Find Anything in Outlook in Seconds!

"OK, I'm officially excited. I have so much 'stuff' in so many folders in Outlook that I often spend way too much time searching. Yes, I use all sorts of organizational schemes, categories, flags, labels, and other tricks to try to make it obvious (to me) why I filed something where I did. But, I often end up hiding stuff from the person who needs it most... me!

Here's an elegant solution.  gives you the kind of satisfaction Google provides when searching the web when you need to find anything in your Outlook folders - including public folders. The program indexes your Outlook .pst files and public folders and makes everything searchable (and find-able).

Lookout adds a Google-ish toolbar to Outlook and makes finding anything a snap....

It's fast. It's free (for now). And it works." [Marc's Outlook on Productivity, via Scobleizer]

Andrew Grumet: Find That Feed - From Feeds.Scripting.Com

The first application of the SDK from Andrew Grumet. You give it a search string and it shows you all the feeds with titles that match or come close. It uses a fuzzy search algorithm so your spelling doesn't have to be perfect. It's fast and provides functionality you can't find here. Great work Andrew! [Feeds.Scripting.Com]
