Need To Be "Made Much Of"? Universal Bondage - The Need To "Be Made Much Of"
"There is almost a universal bondage in America to the mindset that we can only feel loved when we are made much of. The truth is, we are loved most deeply when we are helped to be free from that bondage and to find our joy in treasuring Christ and making much of him."
- Is it our passion to "make much of Jesus"?
- Are we jealous for Christ to get all the glory he deserves?
That "passion" for "Christ's glory" was Paul's passion as demonstrated in Philippians 1:20, where he stated "I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death." Like Paul, let us together strive to make "Christ's glory" a passion in our life!
