Qualcomm taps Linux for wireless wares

I find this story interesting since I've had a lot of contact with Qualcomm recently. It also brings up the issue of open source solutions for medical applications. You can follow news stories on this topic on the Slashdot lookalike, LinuxMedNews.

One news item mentions that the American Medical Informatics Ass'n has approved an open source working group. This is referred to as "FOSS," or Free and Open Source Software.
