Geeks Night Out: Scobleizer on 34th Street

I just left this dinner event at a deli on 34th Street. It gave me a chance to talk about the tablet PC with several MVPs. I even was able to see a demo of the .Net IDE for creating a PPC app by use of an emulator, performed on a tablet PC courtesy of Chris Hollander, a consultant for Microsoft.

Joining in on the conversation was Don XML Demsak. There was general agreement about the use of blogs for presenting and promoting tech topics, even to the point of allowing ads (from trusted sources) on RSS feeds. I wanted to find out about evangelism and the use of blogs, but this still seems to be in its infancy. I know Channel 9 is directed at developers, but I was told that Microsoft uses evangelists at all levels from CIO to average knowledge worker.

Many thanks to Robert for this opportunity.
