OMG .. I finally did it .... I got myself a decent url for my blog ... its now available at http://www.dinamehta.com/ as well as the unwieldy http://radio.weblogs.com/0121664/.  Happy Yazad ? And Amit, it was available :).

I think the last straw was when I saw my url in an article in the recent India Today as http://radio.weblogs.com/ - can't blame the author really.  The article isn't available online unless you have a subscription, but you're really not missing very much ... although they did give a thumbs up to our Tsunamihelp blog.

This is how it starts :

"For long considered the Cinderellas of cyberspace, India's army of raucous, rude and often radical bloggers is forcing the establishment to sit up and take notice, whether it is through tsunami activism or media evangelism ......"

Cinderellas? Rude? Raucous?  Maybe radical.  Well .... something's working somewhere at least.

One observation I made is that most of the bloggers quoted there are journalists or former journalists ... I wonder when we'll see an article from them on blogging in the traditional media .... am convinced this is one area where you've gotta try it to really grok it.
