Here's a great example of making actionable sense out of online collaboration - a group that found each other on Ryze have set up Caferati :

Apart from the blog which i am so happy to see out there, there's another gem of an idea - Stories at the Coffee Table - Volume 1, described as :
"An idea born at one of our readings, Stories at the Coffee Table, Volume One (SATCT-V1 for short) will have between its covers thirty-five previously unpublished short stories in - we hope - a variety of styles and genres.
