Distributed Protests
We stumbled (in the internet sense) across a blog this morning called Bracing against the wind. Although it appeared to be a genuine fluke that we found it, we suspect that it may have been more a matter of fate.
The first item, posted yesterday, was this:
"Came up with a conccept for forming a impacting protest without having to get a permit. It's called a distributed protest. It benefits from being nonviolent and powerful and probably never really done before. I added a density calculator to make it easier for peolpe [sic] to use."
What a creative and efficient way to reach a large number of people with a consistent message in a non-violent way! Please let us know if you are planning, participating in, or have heard of one of these protests.
