I am glad for the latest messages over the net claiming that the US marine Wassef Ali Hassoun is brought to a safe place. Let’s hope this will be confirmed from reliable sources as soon as possible.
But the surfacing of much more grave accusations from the Red Cross and the UNICEF is troublesome for the US. Imprisonment and torture of children? Where is the US decency now a days? The powerful America is no better than the rest of us, indeed there is numerous countries which do not torture children.
It’s about time all foreign forces withdraw for Iraq and left the country to the Iraqi people. This is a war US can’t win.
