Ok, my computer hard drive dies, putting the POINT -- The Way blog on the back burner for the last three weeks (it has seemed like an eternity!), during which, there were tons of stuff about which I wanted to write. Since the HD was rebuilt and restored, I just haven't felt like backtracking. In fact, I immersed myself so totally to bring my machine back up and running that I am now completely sick of it. I am uninspired, and the writer's block has set in. Fortunately, I know that it won't last forever. In the meantime...
So, what do I write about? I could discuss the fact that California "governor" gray davis now has the lowest approval rating of any politician ever in the entire history of polling or politics, but I'm sure that most of us with even walnuts for brains have gotten it by now, have come to be as sick of this snake (with apologies to the snakes) as I am; this is why davis WILL be recalled and the state saved. I could write about how Userland is committing fraud by taking users' $40 and then refusing to answer their trouble questions, but my attorney, with whom I have discussed the possibility of filing a class action lawsuit against Userland, has said that I shouldn't say anything more at this time, so I won't - yet! I could write about today's power outage, the largest in the history of mankind, but I just don't have the energy. I could write about micro$not's shit software and how some punk-ass wormed his way into millions of machines - all while billy gates eats hundred dollar bills, stolen from unsuspecting users, for dinner, but, I suppose, I should be thankful that the masses are finally seeing the truth of the Washington state snake oil sellers. (I can only hope that this msblast worm results in laws that will hold crappy software vendors - such as microsoft and Userland - accountable for their fraud. Maybe bill gates and dave winer can share a cell together in state prison!) I could write about how badly I feel for my new friend, Julie Wiggins, who just got screwed by her man-child of a now ex-boss, Anthony Zabit, CEO of a shithole in San Francisco called Networld Communications; Zabit fired her because she refused to play "mommy" to his spoiled little brat of a two-year-old child act. I know, though, that being out of the demeaning situation that Zabit created for her will only be a good thing, in the long run, although, as anyone in her situation, Julie's emotions must be a bit on the low side right now. At least she now has a bit more time to play with her blog, Sexy Magick, leaving the rest of us with more kool stuff to peruse.
I could write about this, that or the other thing, but, maybe because my biorhythms are on the down side right now, I can only think right now of one thing to say:
So what?
